How to Remove a PopSocket
The best way to remove a PopSocket is to flatten it completely, so if it is popped out pop it back in before trying to remove. You will then peel it up slowly, starting from one side and working it off gently. It is very important that you do not try to pull the PopSocket up when it is expanded as it may pop out of the base.
If you find that this way of removing your PopSocket is not working fear not. Simply take a piece of dental floss and slip it under the PopSocket pulling it along gently to dislodge it from your device. Click here for the definitive guide to Popsockets.
Let the Adhesive Dry Out
Once your PopSocket is off, remember that if you expose it to air for a longer period than 15 minutes you risk your adhesive drying out and then your PopSocket will be useless. If you are not sure where you want to place your PopSocket next, we recommend that you stick it to something else while you do. A window works well as a holding place until you are ready to put it back on your phone or tablet again.
You can attached and reattach your PopSocket over a 100 times before the adhesive is finished, so move it as many times as you need to find the right spot for you to be comfortable, just remember not to expose it to the air for long periods of time to extend its longevity.
