Buyers Guide to Nintendo Switch Games

The Nintendo Switch, with its ability to move from handheld console to your TV, is a hot commodity right now. The Switch lives up to its entertainment value and even if you already have other gaming systems, you may just need to add this one to your list. We think you may also enjoy these Fortnite toys!

Switch Console

The Switch console is only available with one specific hardware configuration, so there’s no choice to make there. It comes in two different color options, either entirely in gray or with a red and blue Joy-Cons. As well as the console, there’s a nice selection of accessories you can buy to add your fun. Don’t forget a great gaming chair!

Joy-Con Controller

The Nintendo Switch comes with an attached Joy-Con controller, the left and the right. This is fine for single player games, or two-player if you swap back and forth. Consider buying one or two extra controllers so you’re ready for multiplayer Nintendo Switch online games, such as Mario Kart 8.

Switch Pro Controller

The Switch Pro isn’t essential to have, but some gamers like the feel of this Nintendo controller. The Pro has nice large face buttons and a trigger, and its larger size makes it easier for gamers with bigger hands to hold on to for longer periods of time.

Carrying Case

One of the best things about the Switch is that you can take it with you wherever you go. Invest in a carrying case to keep your fragile console safe and in good condition. Get a case that’s large enough to store the console as well as the Nintendo Switch online games, controllers, and cables you want to take with you.

MicroSD Card

The Nintendo Switch internal storage is quite small at 32 GB. To get more gaming storage you can install a microSD card. These storage cards are available in 64, 128, and 256 GB.

Screen Protector

No matter how careful you are there are bound to be scratches you can’t prevent. A screen protector is affordable so should be on your list of Switch accessories.

Joy-Con Charger

You’re in the middle of a game and your Joy-Con loses power. You can prevent these annoying game interruptions with the Joy-Con Charging Station. You can charge four controllers at one time in just 4 hours.
